Chapter 1: Customers

 

Customer related functions can be accessed from the main menu or by the side menu.

 

 

 

1.1 Customer List

 

 

Clicking on ‘Customer List’ on the Main Navigation Bar will bring up a summary of customer records. These customer records store various information necessary to profile your customers; allowing users of the system to better understand the customers that they serve.

 

 The Search Toolbar is present on the top of the page to help search customer records. You can narrow down your search for customers based on a number of criteria, such as name, state, country, business type, sales rating etc.

 

·       You can sort the list of customers by clicking on the ‘A’ (ascending) button and ‘D’ (descending) button for the respective field. For example, to sort in descending order for company names, click on the ‘D’ button. The list will then be sorted with backwards alphabetically (descending order).

 

 

·       Click on the customer’s name or the ‘View’ button to view and edit customer records.

·       Click on the sales person’s name to view and edit sales person details.
